The thought of me doing a "series" of paintings came about while I was sitting yet again in the examination room waiting for the doctor to come in. Yes I know we have all been there. I was looking around at the walls of the room. Freshly painted and clean, yet they were bare with the exception of a standard issue medical poster. It wasn't very warming at all. My mind was focused on the examination I was getting ready to have. My mind wanted to escape for the moment....
After the examination, I asked the doctor if he had thought of putting a picture or two in the rooms so his patients could "Escape for the Moment" by focusing on a picture instead of the procedure they were going through. He thought it was a great idea!!!! So the thought was conceived and the paintings will follow. Stop back and soon you will see the new paintings.
